Michigan Siberians is a small, home-based Siberian breeding program run by Priya Thottam and her mother Sondra Ragon. We raise kittens the way we believe they should be raised — in a family home, handled daily, loved from birth.
Our kittens aren't raised in cages or a cattery. They grow up in our home, navigating the everyday rhythms of family life alongside children, household sounds, and the occasional visitor. We raise two litter types: colorpoint Siberians with their signature blue eyes and elegant pale coats, and traditional multicolored Siberians in classic tabby patterns and colors. Both reflect the full Siberian temperament: affectionate, intelligent, and deeply connected to their people.
From the day they're born, our kittens are handled gently and often. We introduce them to different sounds, textures, and people during their critical socialization window — the period before 12 weeks when experiences shape temperament for life. Kittens raised this way tend to adapt to new environments with much less stress, making the transition to your home smoother for everyone.
